What is the LCVP?

The LCVP is a full Leaving Certificate Programme plus 3 link modules Enterprise Education, Preparation for Work and Work Experience
LCVP makes links between your Leaving Certificate Subjects and the real world - to give you a better understanding of what you are studying and why?

The LCVP can help you to:

• Have responsibility for your own learning

• Communicate your thoughts and ideas effectively
  
  
• Investigate and plan your career options
  
  
• Develop key skills for the modern working environment
  
  
• Work well with others as part of a team

• Access and use computers and audio-visual equipment

What subjects do you study?

• Two Leaving Certificate subjects from one of the vocational subject groupings (There are currently 13 groupings to choose from)
  
  
• Other Leaving Certificate Subjects including Irish (Most students take a total of seven Leaving Certificate subjects)
  
  
• One Leaving Certificate continental language
  
  
• The three link modules (Enterprise Education, Preparation for work, Work Experience)
